Alex Bould
Mentor, Instructor and Advisor
Alex specializes in working with high tech companies in the 500MM-5B+ revenue range with 50-500 teams of hardware and software developers running Agile. As an Agile Transformation Leader and Enterprise Agile Coach he is reliable for causing alignment and creating and fostering a culture of accountability and partnership between Company Leaders, Product Owners and Development Teams. Teams begin to know themselves as reliable for producing what they say they will produce by when they said they would produce it, and in the process discover what it takes to bring accurate thinking to estimation and execution especially when dealing with uncertainty, complexity and dependency. Product Owners discover a new level of leadership for themselves as they take on operating in a context of partnership with teams that are willing to be accountable for producing what they say they will produce by when they said they would produce it. Company Leaders discover what is required of them to create the kind of environment that allows for accountability, partnership and product leadership to thrive. As results, this shows up in reduced time to market (or time to product/market fit for emerging products) allowing Developers, Product Owners, Company Leaders and their Customers to benefit from the promise of Agile being fulfilled.

Kristin studied communications as an undergraduate at the University of California at Los Angeles. She did her graduate work at University of California at Berkeley, studying moral development with Dr. Elliot Turiel. Her dissertation research was conducted in Mysore, India, where she examined children’s moral reasoning. In addition to her pioneering research into self-compassion, she has developed an 8-week program to teach self-compassion skills. The program, co-created with her colleague Chris Germer, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is called Mindful Self-Compassion.
